How projects run

Four stages, no discovery theatre

Enquiry

A short form and a 30-minute call. If the scope is not a fit, we say so and point you elsewhere.

Proposal

One page, a fixed price, and the dates we can actually start. No discovery phase that bills before it delivers.

Sprints

Two-week sprints with a show-and-tell every Friday. You see the work while it is rough, not when it is late.

Handover

Files, fonts, licences, and a build guide go to you at the end. Retainers exist; lock-in does not.

House rules

What the studio keeps to

Four projects at a time
The wall stays small on purpose; every project gets a partner, not a handoff.
Rough on Fridays
Show-and-tell every week while the work is unfinished, when feedback is still cheap.
Files you own
Storage, licences, and a build guide are yours from the first sprint; lock-in is not a service.

One sprint, week by week

How a rebrand actually moves

Four checkpoints from kickoff to handover on a typical six-week identity project.

stakeholder interviews, minimum

Week 1 — Evidence first

Interviews, a positioning workshop, and a written brief we both sign before any sketching.

6 stakeholder interviews, minimum

Week 2 – 3 — Directions on the wall

Two identity directions, shown rough. You pick a lane before we polish anything.

2 directions, never more

Week 4 – 5 — System, not just a logo

Type, colour, layout, and the fifteen things the brand touches on day one.

15 artefacts in the starter system

Week 6 — Files and a guide

Everything exports, licences transfer, and a build guide keeps the system honest after we leave.
